Physics question on finding energy of a wave?
Im doing a lab on visable light spectrum
I found a light wave to have a frequency of 400 nm
I don't know how to find the energy of the wave
It needs to be in joules and in Electron Volts
any help would be great

f= 7.5 x 10^14 Hz
E= hf
h is the planck constant, 6.62 x 10^-34
f is the frequency in Hertz
E= (6.62 x 10^-34) x (7.5 x 10^14)
