What's the purpose of the inverter,on a compressor unit for a water chiller. ( US / 220v. 60hz )?
This is a recirculating coolant chiller on a japanese wire EDM
Machine. The machine runs for a short while, then kicks off as
soon as the chiller comes on. The manual say's it has a large
capacity electrolytic condensor that wears out in time.
The reason for my question is simple cheapness, The Japanese
company wants $1500.oo a year just to ask this question. I think
thats a bit much for a question
To reduce the energy consumption.
