Which ring should I get?
One of the diamonds has an IF rating for clarity, which means it's internally flawless, but has a H color rating. It's .52 carats. $1520
The other one is .53 carats and has a VVS2 clarity rating which means there are small inclusions when looked at under a microscope. It has a color rating of E. $1840
Both are round diamonds with ideal cuts, and with excellent polish and symmetry.
Which one should I get? The one with a better clarity rating or better color rating?! Thanks

Sharon--it's a good price! I've checked with other diamond companies too and they are at least $300-$400 more expensive at the other places for a diamond with the same specs!
To be 100% honest, I would go for something like the following diamond.

Although .53 ct is plenty of diamond (I have 0.44 ct solitaire) I personally think that the IF clarity is overkill, for not only the size (it might be more important in larger diamonds) but also the cut (more important for emerald or radiant cuts)
I have a VVS2, and even when I look at the certificate, there are tiny microscopic inclusions barely showing on the diamond certificate, and I can't even see them on the diamond no matter HOW hard I look.
I would go for a G or F colour though, especially if you are going to set it in white metal.
and are you buying from bluenile? I think they have wicked prices and great diamonds (the diamonds they sell are conflict free also)

edit: if you ARE buying from bluenile, I would also say, take the lower clarity, but go for the signature ideal cut..very very sparkly....
