Will a handheld digital camera work with a compound microscope.?
I only need to get a semi-clear picture of it to study. the digital camera is a Hp photosmart E427 6.0 megapixels
Just hold your camera againat the eyepiece and press the shutter. You should be able to take a picture. If you don't want to have the black ring of the eyepiece, zoom it in. If you prefer to crop the picture, you can zoom out then crop out of the eye piece ring. A better way to do is the use a camera adapter like Celestron 93626 universal camera adapter (work with telescope too). Attached the camera to the tripod then attach the adapter to the eyepiece. You want to turn the flash light off. If you use the adapter that I suggested, you can use shutter timer. You will get a better picture with shutter timer.
