Electronic experiment board/materials?
If I dont have a breadboard or a perfboard to experiment with circuit prototypes, does anyone have any other ideas what I can use? I've got plenty of components, soldering iron, wires, etc. I just need something to hold the circuits together, thoughts?
Of course the best thing is ideal tools. Breadboards with power supplies… pcb and software to generate…
Short of that, depending how complex and what is the environment
Is it something you need to instantaneously temporarily fix at customer preemies?
A cardboard could do to hold the components, you just have to make holes for the leads and connect them.
Sometimes I just do a 3D sculpture, it all depends how complex
Sometimes it needs to hold in place so I use PCB material that I cut a few islands to support the 3D sculpture.
Often I cut small pieces of PCB material, say ¼ by ¼ inch and solder this piece on the main board as a anchor point for a 3D sculpture.
