Is there any way i can record to a Handheld Recording Device?
Okay so i'm looking to buy a nice condenser microphone for voiceovers on youtube and things. But i'm also going to try and use it for short films and things like that (better audio quality) now i'm going to get the Blue Yeti microphone and its a USB Microphone. Now is there any way that i can record to a handheld device (either an ipod or phone of some sort, or something i can purchase) without losing sound quality. It is a stereo microphone so i'm hoping i can still have stereo quality.
Now i'm gonna be using this mic for reviews (which i can plug into my computer)
But some of my films are gonna be outside recording voice and FX such as quads, water, things like that. Now i just need a way to record. The mic already has a stand adapter so i can hook it up to a boom of some sort to get the best quality.. BTW the mic sounds really good for 100 bucks.

You cannot connect the Yeti USB mic to an ipod - about the most portable thing you could connect it to would be a small laptop. If you do not have one, you might be better off just getting a small digital stereo recorder like a zoom h1. It can record stereo audio and then the files can be downloaded to a computer. I own one and it is a great recorder for around $100 USDA.
